Just returned from the 25th anniversary of the Virginia Hamilton Conference. The longest running event to focus exclusively on multicultural literature for children and young adults. It was a phenomenal conference. With two VH literary awards given this year. One to the great illustrator/booksmith Barry Moser,(who created the only illustrated bible of (more…)
